Single-CDTA (Current Differencing Transconductance Amplifier) Current-Mode Biquad Revisited
This paper presents a current-mode (CM) second-order filter, employing one so-called “Z Copy – Current Differencing Transconductance Amplifier” (ZC-CDTA), two grounded capacitors, and one virtually grounded resistor. The filter provides two current outputs of low-pass (LP) and band-pass (BP) types for driving independent loads, and one high-pass (HP) current output, flowing through one of the w...
متن کاملA Novel Logarithmic Current-Controlled Current Amplifier (LCCA)
A new OTA-based logarithmic-control variable gain current amplifier (LCCA) is presented. It consists of two Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) and two PMOS transistors biased in weak inversion region. The circuit operates from 0.6V DC power supply and consumes 0.6 μW. The linear-dB controllable output range is 43 dB with maximum error less than 0.5dB. The functionality of the proposed...
متن کاملCurrent Mode Universal Filter Using Single Current Controlled Differential Difference Current Conveyor Transconductance Amplifier
This research paper contains a new electronically tunable current-mode biquadratic universal filter using a new active building block; current controlled differential difference current conveyor transconductance amplifier (CCDDCCTA). The proposed filter provides the following important and desirable features: (i) One can use only one CCDDCCTA and two capacitors; (ii) One can get low pass (LP), ...
متن کاملReconfigurable Switched-Current Σ∆ Power Amplifier
In this paper a reconfigurable switched-current sigma delta modulator for power amplifier is shown, which is a suitable topology to save energy and integrated area in portable applications. Results have shown the correct operation of a 1.8V, 0.18μm CMOS reconfigurable switched-current sigma delta modulator with 11bits dynamic range within 1MHz and 7.8bits within 3.8MHz bandwidth.
متن کاملTransimpedance amplifier with differential photodiode current sensing
This paper presents a balanced receiver structure suitable for wireless infrared data communications. The receiver provides a fixed photodiode bias voltage with the use of a regulated cascode input stage. Together with an active feedback loop used to eliminate dc photocurrents, the receiver implements ac coupling without the need for matching capacitors. Differential sensing of the photodiode c...
